Theater has the power to shape who we become.
Three years ago, we surveyed the Chicago landscape and realized there was a major opportunity with the youngest among us. Theater for the Very Young (TVY) emerged as our first overture to young families. These new efforts build on a long legacy of education and engagement programs: the annual summer PlayBuild Youth and Musical Theater Intensives for teens, GeNarrations for adults aged 55+, and the School Matinee Series for Chicago Public School students. As the world continues to change, one constant remains: there is a need for programming that brings people together and great joy to be had in doing it.
We may not know what the future holds, but with your support, we can help Chicagoans from all communities continue to have delightful and transformative experiences through theater. I hope that you will consider making a gift to continue this legacy into our second century.
With Gratitude,

Susan V. Booth
